Your tasks:
- Performing analytical and numerical FEA calculations for components and assemblies including static and dynamic analyses
- Engineering evaluation of results as well as performing strength and stability verifications according to common standards and guidelines
- Application and further development of FEA models to represent complex structural relationships
- Interpretation, plausibility checking, and documentation of calculation results
- Optimization of designs with regard to strength, weight, and functionality
- Close coordination with our clients to derive technical improvement measures
- Development, expansion, and maintenance of internal calculation tools (e.g., for automation and standardization of processes)
Your profile:
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable technical discipline – Bachelor, Master, or Diploma
- Alternatively, a specialization in statics or structural design is also suitable
- Good knowledge of engineering mechanics and physics as well as a solid understanding of structural mechanical relationships – for example, you can explain what the plastic support number of a thin-walled tube means
- German language skills at least at C1 level, particularly for technical documentation and communication with our clients
- English language skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills, team capability, as well as an independent and structured working approach
- Professional experience in a comparable environment is an advantage but not a requirement
- Initial experience with VDI 2230, the Eurocodes, or the FKM guideline is an advantage
