Transport simulation
We use realistic transport simulations to determine how your products behave under typical transport conditions – for greater safety and fewer failures.

Protection for your products along the entire transportation route.
Reliability on every transport route
A transport simulation is a procedure used to test the resistance of components and products to stresses during storage, shipping and transportation. Typical stresses are caused by shocks during road transport by truck, vibrations in rail transport, wave impacts during sea transport, vibrations in air transport or impact loads during loading with cranes, forklifts or other lifting equipment – in contrast to purely static loads.
With our simulations, we ensure that your products can withstand the mechanical impacts that occur – without unacceptable deformation, damage or loss of function. Virtual tests are used to determine how stresses and deformations develop during transportation – and whether they are within safe limits.
Our range of services
Safety and special simulations
We evaluate the load-bearing capacity of your constructions under transportation conditions - digitally, reliably and in accordance with standards. With the help of FEA calculations, we identify weak points, test safety-critical scenarios and create the basis for robust, safe use.

Transport simulations are essential when...
Your safety - our responsibility
your products are exposed to shocks, vibrations or other mechanical loads during transportation or handling - e.g. during truck transport
weak points in the design are to be identified before cost-intensive real tests or transportation take place.
There are high requirements for functional safety and integrity during transportation - for example, for sensitive electronics or machine components.
there is no time for repeated prototype tests and reliable simulation results are required.
sensitive or valuable goods in sensitive industries such as medical technology, aviation, defense or plant engineering require maximum reliability.
Advantages of transport simulations
Measurable benefits. Verifiable quality
We use virtual simulations to help you design your products to be safer and more robust for all types of transportation. Our claim: reliable results for realistic transportation loads - reliable, comprehensible and practical.
Prevention of transport damage
A transport simulation can be used to check whether your products can withstand the typical loads during loading and transportation. This minimizes risks and prevents cost-intensive damage.
Design for transportation conditions
We determine relevant loads such as shocks, vibrations and accelerations in order to specifically safeguard your design for demanding transportation and handling scenarios.
Realistic valuation
Virtual transport simulations provide reliable findings even before the first physical transports or tests take place - and thus create planning security.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Quick answers. Clear solutions.
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our services.
What exactly is a transport simulation?
A transport simulation is a virtual test in which the behavior of a component or product is analyzed under realistic transport loads – e.g. due to impacts, vibrations, accelerations or shocks during truck, rail, sea or air transport as well as during loading with a crane or forklift. e.g. impacts, vibrations, accelerations or shocks during transportation by truck, rail, sea or air as well as during loading by crane or forklift.
When is a transport simulation useful?
Particularly in the early stages of development or for sensitive, high-value or safety-critical products, it provides valuable insights to prevent transport damage – long before the first physical transportation takes place. It is also helpful if transport damage has already occurred and the causes need to be identified or design improvements developed.
Can existing constructions also be checked?
Yes, existing models or CAD data can be used to subsequently simulate the behavior under transport load and identify possible potential for improvement.
How long does a shock simulation take and how much does it cost?
This depends entirely on the task at hand. Please contact us for individual advice and a suitable offer.
